Brian Foose is a well established commercial advertising and fashion photographer based in Auckland.

 

Photography has been part of his life since a very young age. After the 35mm film era, He bought his first digital camera, a Kodak DC40, in 1995. he has moved up since then and now shoots with a digital medium format Hasselblad and a collection of other camera brands as required.

 

Proud to be 100% self-taught. Brian fine-tuned his skills and developed his style alongside the industry’s finest creatives both locally and internationally.

 

Noticeably Brian mastered his powerful lighting skills from his good friend the awards winning international photographer Chase Jarvis.

 

Brian has had the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best brands around the world, such as Nintendo, SCE Playstation, Microsoft, O’Loreal, Shiseido, Heineken and others.

 

He is very active in social media; He also has many endorsements from various camera brands based on the recognition of his skills within the industry. He has a strong technical knowledge of the digital process, and always shoots with the end result in mind.

 

Brian will teach you how to create professional grade editorial fashion style photographs with the simplest lighting setup (mostly one flash) by understanding how to use the flash and different modifiers.
